2007 Pontiac Torrent

The 2007 Pontiac Torrent continues the success that its 2006 make witnessed when the series was first released as a replacement of the earlier Aztec. Like its precursor (the 2006), the 2007 Torrent combines traditional traits of SUVs with the latest innovations in automobile technology to meet the demands of buyers.

The 2007 Pontiac Torrent amends most of the complaints faced by the Aztec regarding performance as well as appearance. Both four-wheel and two-wheel (front wheel) drive options are available in the 2007 make of the Torrent.

The five-speed automatic transmission is retained from the 2006 model. In fact, despite the engine being a 3.4-liter V6, the horsepower generated remains 185 hp. In fact, as a further proof of the efficiency of the 2007, the mileage remains at 24 mpg on highways and over 19 mpg in urban roads.

An electronic stability system, along with monitoring systems for fuel range, external temperature and tire pressure, is among the features added to the 2007 Pontiac Torrent, making it one of the most efficiently managed SUVs on the road.

2006 Pontiac Torrent

The 2006 Pontiac Torrent is an SUV that surpasses its predecessor, the Aztec, by far, in terms of both styling and performance. Apart from being a sport-utility vehicle, the 2006 Torrent also incorporates features otherwise saved for sports sedans and sports SUVs – despite being deceptively conventional externally.

The 2006 Pontiac Torrent is available with two drive options –front wheel drive and all-wheel drive. A V6 engine has a capacity of 3.6 liters provides horsepower as high as 185 hp, and the transmission is a five-speed automatic. The mileage is also impressive, close to 24 mpg on the highway.

The 2006 Pontiac Torrent has plenty of automated features including power steering, an antilock braking system (ABS), power window, automatic door locks and even air conditioning for driving comfort. Sporty features include the FE2 Sport Suspension, fog lamps, a triple-spoke steering wheel, and trendy alloy wheels.
